A system that is not on the list can listen for events itself.

When spend is approved, an export completes or a member joins the team, RevoSpend sends a signed request to the address you choose. Your internal systems react to those events without waiting for a bespoke connection.

What it does, and where it stops.

  • Signed requests

    Every request is signed with a shared secret, so your system can verify it came from RevoSpend and was not altered on the way.

  • Failed deliveries are retried

    If your endpoint does not respond, the request is resent at increasing intervals. Every attempt and its result are visible in Settings; an event never disappears without a trace.

  • It carries events, not authority

    A webhook is a notification; the receiving side cannot change anything in RevoSpend. The payload holds the fields the event needs and nothing more.

Setup, in three steps.

  1. 01

    Add the endpoint

    Enter your HTTPS address in Settings and choose which events to listen for.

  2. 02

    Verify the signature

    Configure the generated secret in your system and check each incoming request's signature against it.

  3. 03

    Send a test event

    Send a sample event and see the response before going live. The delivery history sits on the same screen.

The access we ask for, and nothing more.

Webhooks ask nothing of you: the request goes to an address you open. You create and rotate the signing secret in Settings, and deleting the address stops delivery.
