Add or remove seats

Seats are per user licenses: one seat per person across all your companies. Add seats before inviting users, remove users before reducing seats.

RevoSpend is priced per user: you pay per seat, and a seat is one person — counted once, however many of your companies they work in. Think of seats as your user licenses.

When a seat is used

  • A seat is taken when a person’s activation link is sent, and stays taken once they join.
  • People you’ve added but not yet invited don’t use a seat.
  • Removing someone from the team frees their seat.

  1. Open Subscription

    Go to Settings → Billing → Subscription.

  2. Change the number of seats

    Click Add seats or Edit seats and set the new number.

  3. Confirm

    Check the summary and confirm. When you add seats, the difference for the rest of the period is charged today.

Reducing seats

You can reduce seats down to the number of people holding one today. To go lower, first remove people in Settings → Team → People.

If your team ever has more people than seats — for example after a change to your subscription — nobody is removed and nobody loses access. New invitations wait until a seat frees up or you add seats.

Troubleshooting

“The seat count can’t go below that”. That many people hold a seat today. Remove people on the Team page first, then reduce seats.
